Now even the facebook users can join the tweet knots. Today, tweetknot has launched facebook application, which allows users to post on the knots from facebook. Users can also like their their twitter account with facebook account to retain their currently existing knots.

We had a feature wherein Knot can follow any twitter user or Rss Feed as specified by the knot owner. Now we have added an additional functionality wherein Knot owner can specify the Knot to follow any Twitter hashtag.

Guys & Gals, first of all we would like like to thank you for the support and the positive feedback you have given for TweetKnot. We have crossed 100 Knots last week. Its very exciting that we crossed this milestone in such a short time. So we want to let you know what kind of Knots people are creating in general on TweetKnot.

We are excited to launch TweetKnot.
TweetKnot: Tying People Together is an app built over twitter. It allows users to create the communities (public/private) over twitter.
I would like you to explore the site about the entire service. But to give brief intro this is what we think about our service:
* TweetKnot provides platform to share the short messages (140 chars) across people via Knots.
* Every member of Knot can send the message to all other members.
* TweetKnot provides support to create private Knots.
* Owner of Knot can specify sources (twitter users) whose messages appear in the Knot automatically.
* No registration required, you can sign-in via twitter. Just allow TweetKnot to access twitter, its absolutely safe.
About Us:
TweetKnot is a Bangalore, India based privately funded startup. TweetKnot is started by experienced IIT Bombay alumni.

Q: What is Knot?
A: Knot is Community of Twitter users who share common interest and use this as platform to share the short messages across them. Every member of community can send the message to all other members of the community.
Q: How can one Join Tweet Knot?
A: Any person with twitter account can join the Knot. Twitter user can join any public Knot. Community owner has to approve you in case of private Knot.
Q: How can one Create Tweet Knot?
A: Any person with twitter account can create the Tweet Knot. He can specify whether he wants the Knot to be private or public. Only members approved by creator can join in private Knot.
Q: What does Knot Following member mean?
A: The creator of Knot can make group follow any of Twitter member. For example user Antony can create a Knot called TechnologyNews and specify it to Follow http://twitter.com/TechCruch, which means all messages posted by Techcrunch on twitter will be automatically posted to TechnologyNews Knot.
Q: How can one send a message to Tweet Knot?
A: Every Tweeknot user can send message to Knot in multiple ways
* Visit the Knot page http://tweetknot.com/communityname and post the message there
* You can post message from Twitter page by entering D TweetKnot communityname message
* If you have your mobile number associated to your twitter account, then you c an send D TweetKnot communityname message from your mobile phone.
Q: How can one receive a message to Tweet Knot?
A: Currently user can read the messages on tweetknot.com. TweetKnot provides a cool UI wherein users can read/reply/post messages on both Twitter & Knot by just a button click. We will soon plan to provide a way wherein Users can get messages on their mobile.

I am a big cricket fan and I couldn’t resist watching the exciting IPL (Indian Premier League) Final between Deccan Chargers and Royal Challengers and as a result I got little late.
